I Have A Secret & I Cannot Keep It!

I'm done. I give up. I can no longer hold it in. I want to shout it from the rooftops of some charming cottage-style home with impeccable decor. I need a bedazzled mega phone and an audience that appreciates AD Open Door segments & Homeworthy Youtube's channel to listen to me! Not you? It could be once you hear my incredible secret! This is the perfect space to get this off my chest. The weight I have been carrying is unbearable. I want to let everyone know that... I have a list of the most incredible stores that I cannot gatekeep any longer. STORES? Yes... If you have an uncontrollable love for everything fabulous and your space of living like I do, stick around. If you wanted some piping hot gossip... what is hotter than new napkin rings for you summer tablescape? Got ya there.

Moving right along into the meat of this blog. We are skipping the fluff this time! Trimming the fat of the blog because it is time for that summer shred and there is no need for the extra fluff this season.

FYI these are not your common Pottery Barn & William Sonoma. Although I have a deep love for both of those store, these shops are more unique, smaller & specific! I hope you love!

STORES THAT I'M LOVING

#1 The Well Appointed House

Starting off strong we have The Well Appointed House. This store is a myriad of things. From entertaining essentials to creating well-crafted outdoor spaces, this store houses fabulous finds for every nook and cranny of your home.

I'll tell you what to do. Grab a glass of wine and have a little date night with this site. Get to know her and you won't be disappointed. Here a few of my favorite things about this store:

• I need a bowl... but make it fun: I love that this site has common household things that are fun. FUN & FUNCTIONAL. This is the motto. I love fun & functional things because it showcases personality in the home. My grandma and I have long talks about this. Make your space you! I want to walk in Sally's house and it scream SALLY! I want to have a dinner party at Suzy's and go THIS IS SO SUZY. Plus it's fun. It's fun to curate your home with all the details. Pass on the basic hammered ice bucket and go for the Countryside Cooler Bucket with Woven Cane Handles ;) Of course, this is not sponsored (I wish). I am just that big of a fan of this store and their items.

• Collections make the heart grow fonder: There is nothing I appreciate more than a little collection! This store does a great job at putting together collections based on the season, occasion, or home style. July 4th is creeping around the corner, so in true red, white and blue fashion, all the stores are throwing up their 'MERICA items. This store follows suit, but in a cute way. In a I need to invite all of my friends over for a dinner party on the porch way.

• I want to be HER: I'm not sure I need to explain this in depth. You know that girl that has the life of your Pinterest board? The gal you strive to be? The woman who hosts the best parties, always has fresh clean linens, tablescapes that make people jelly & a garden that belongs on Southern Living? Yeah, this store is HER.

I love that this store does a "designer spotlight" and has a little Q+A with them! It is so interesting to hear from a designer with a great eye. To top it all off they share some of the designer's favorites. I feel like I have bonded with the designer after getting to the bottom of the page and we just became friends. Side note... Does anyone else watch a show or someone on Youtube long enough that you start to refer to them as your friend? It's me. I do this all the time. Shoutout to all my besties on the Tube.

#2 Blue Print Store

She's fabulous. She resides in Dallas. Lunches at NM Cafe or Restoration Hardware and during her evenings she decides whether to host cocktails on her lower veranda or her upstairs terrace that has the most beautiful view of her well-maintained garden. This gal is iconic. This girl is the: Blue Print Store.

Similar to the above store, this one is also full of goodies for every part of the house. This store does not have a garden or outdoor section to choose from, but I would argue what this store lacks in outdoor products it makes up for in tabletop things! Great variety of cloth napkins, napkin rings, glassware and fun serving sets! Hostess with the mostest? This is your store! This shop also makes a GREAT registry. Fun china, platters and flatware. This place has some incredibly unique pieces to put on the wedding registry! Love this store so much, I am registered here :) This is the place to get those little luxuries in your home and showcase that personality.

#3 Julia Amory: For The Home

The For The Home section on Julia Amory's site is another dream spot for all the tabletop goodies! This store has just recently made its impression on me! With a smaller selection than the others, this shop still offers great items! Very femme, dainty and floral is what you will be met with here. I won't lie, that isn't always the vibe, but I appreciate mix-matching all the vibes to connect with my personality.

A few things I love most about this store

• Inspiration from nature: There are a lot of pieces that are inspired by flowers. This is so fun to me. Have a favorite flower, birth flower or just a flower you're obsessed with? Here is your chance to snag a tablecloth with that pattern and host a garden party for all your friends!

• No matter the occasion...: When I scroll through this store I am getting inspired for all kinds of events. Small gatherings, engagements, weddings, birthdays, Christmas brunch, lake house lunch or tea on the porch! The list is endless. From their AEGEAN CHINTZ TABLECLOTH to their SAGE BOWS TABLECLOTH the opportunities are fruitful!

#4 The Castle Collection

Taking it all the way down to my hometown in Cleburne, TX. No online store here. This is some good ole' fashion shopping! Take a step into the cutest store in Johnson County. All kinds of goodies can be found here, but let's focus on the home. The Castle Collection is the one stop shop! Need a gift for a hostess? They have it. Need a fun wedding gift? They got you. Want to spice up your own kitchen? Say no more. This store not only has the most fabulous ladies that work there, they will help you make your interior dreams come true. I love their glasses, collection of Jan Barbloglio & ALL their blue and white decorative items. Online shopping is great but sometimes you need to touch the items & inhale the NEST & Volcano candles that are in the store (they carry both brands). Nothing says luxury like the smell of NEST, am I right?
